Hello,
My name is Melissa Shropshire and I offer family style dog boarding for your loved one while you’re away(boarding in a private home). I guarantee a clean safe environment for your pet with lots of love and attention. Family style boarding is a wonderful alternative to kenneling. My limit is 4 pups at any given time, allowing your pets to receive more one on one personalized 24hr care. Your pet will have full run of my home as if they were my own for the entire duration of their stay. I have two acres of property surrounded by woods, so your little one will have plenty of room to run or just max and relax.
I have over 12 years of pet care experience from a groomer, foster, owner, Humane Society Technician and ER Technician. I posses an AA degree in Applied Science from CCBC Verterinary Technology program and I am currently working on my license as an RVT. I am also CPR Certified. Administering medication is no problem.
In most cases I have everything already here, blankets, toys, bowls, beds etc… The only thing owners need to bring is their pets food, this is in order to prevent GI upsets (tummy aches), but of course owners are welcome to bring whatever they wish. All males over 9 months of age Must be neutered. Guest must also be dog/child friendly, house broken, flea/tick free and up to date on vaccines. A copy of current vaccinations is due at the time of drop off, these copies will be kept on file.
I do my best to accommodate everyone but everyone’s needs are different. If you have special needs please don’t hesitate to ask.

****Drop offs and pick ups are by Appointment Only. A one hour time frame is perfect, this is in order to maintain a schedule for all remaining guests( potty breaks, meals, walks, others apt times etc…)****
We are now entering the spring and Summer Months, Flea /Tick Prevention is highly recommended,
